I had a great stay at The Moorings Hotel in Gorey. The property is impeccably maintained, and I loved the authentic Victorian furniture in the sitting room upstairs. Despite being a single room, it was surprisingly spacious, one of the biggest I've stayed in. The staff, including the adorable Roxy the dog, were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was excellent, with options for vegetarians like me. The view from my room overlooking the harbor was breathtaking.
I do recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at a hotel situated right on the quay of a charming little seaside harbor. The rooms were cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed and great views of either the castle or the harbor. The staff were lovely and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast had a wide selection of options and was delicious. The hotel's location was perfect, allowing us to explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy alfresco dining.
One downside was the compact dining area, which made service a bit slow due to the high number of people and limited waitstaff.

The double room at The Moorings Hotel was absolutely stunning! The terrace offered breathtaking sea views, perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink. I loved the spaciousness of the room, especially the private bathroom with a luxurious bath. It was so relaxing after a long day exploring the seaside. Having a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in the room was a great bonus. I could unwind and catch up on my favorite shows before bed. The natural colors in the room created a calming and peaceful atmosphere. I truly felt like I was on a relaxing getaway.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the walk-in shower in the private bathroom. I prefer a bath, but I understand that others might enjoy the convenience and modernity of a shower.

The room was spacious and had a stylish decor with natural colors, giving it a calming atmosphere. The private bathroom featuring a bath was a nice touch, and the availability of a wardrobe made it easy to keep our belongings organized. we loved how comfortable and cozy the room felt, making it a great place to relax after a long day of trekking.
Personally, I was not a big fan of the walk-in shower in the private bathroom. I prefer a traditional shower set-up, but I understand that others might enjoy the modern design and convenience of a walk-in shower.
